This is the very first ultrasound examination that can be used to determine pregnancy and gestational age. It is recommended to carry out the test one or two weeks after the missed period, since 5 weeks of pregnancy from the last period can already be seen by ultrasound. During the examination, we determine whether the implantation took place in the right place, thereby ruling out or predicting many pregnancy complications and pathologies.
